When you’re in the mood for a good beer, where do you go? We decided to look into what the best breweries near the South Loop are and we had a lot of fun finding out. Check out what we found in our brand new blog, the Best Breweries Near The South Loop!
Kicking off our blog on the best breweries near the South Loop is First Draft near Printer’s Row at 649 S. Clark. The menus are hung under the table! So cool because as they’ve got an extensive drinks menu, you’re constantly checking it to see what to try next. We love their cold craft beer – there seemed to be around 20 craft beers on tap –and we sampled the Stone Delicious IPA (it was!), and a Founder’s Porter. It’s also great for sports with many TVs mounted everywhere.
Next up on our blog on the best breweries near the South Loop is The Franklin Tap over at 325 S. Franklin. Open weekdays only, this place gets very crowded very quickly so be sure to show up early. They even allow dogs here! Beers here are incredibly priced and they serve up some great IPAs as well as good food. But we’re here today to talk about the beer – and we sampled the Smash Ale, the Floy Division II, and the Easy Street and found them all to be as refreshing as they were delicious.
Finishing up our blog on the best breweries near the South Loop is Kasey’s Tavern over at Printer’s Row at 701 S. Dearborn St. Kasey’s has been around for a mighty long time – they own the 2nd oldest liquor license in the entire state – and this is the place to go for sports as they carry almost every TV sports channel/package there is! It’s truly known as a beer lover’s paradise and with over 130 domestics, local craft beers from across the Midwest, and unique beers from all over the planet it’s easy to tell why. We love it!
And there you go – some of the best breweries near the South Loop! Wherever you choose to go, please be sure to drink responsibly and stay safe.
