Now Summer’s here, it’s a great time to head outside and soak up both the sun and the sights – because, hey, this is the South Loop and this is what we do. But where are the best places to be outside in the South Loop? It’s such a great question we decided to devote our latest blog to the topic so without further ado, let’s dive straight in!
Kicking off our blog on the best places to be outside in the South Loop is Sociale Chicago over at 800 S. Clark Street. They’re all about tapas and small plates here which are perfect fare for their patio seating. Enjoy the sun, enjoy the people watching, enjoy the company – but best of all, enjoy the food. We sampled the Fried Chicken sandwich and the Prime Burger and guzzled down both of them! And let’s not forget their Happy Hour with $6 cocktails. It’s a great place to be outside.
Next up on our blog on the best places to be outside in the South Loop is the Chicago Favorites Walking Food Tour. Head through the Loop from Millennium Park to Palmer House and take in not just the park but State Street and the Chicago Theater Marquee along with food and beverage samples. The tour leaves from the Chicago Cultural Center so leave plenty of room for food and drink before you head over.
Rounding out our blog on the best places to be outside in the South Loop is the Bikes At Night Fireworks tour! Starting at 7:30pm at Navy Pier, you’ll join a group of fellow bikers to some well-known and well-lit attractions from the Museum Campus to Buckingham Fountain. The evening ends with fireworks back at Navy Pier.
There are so many amazing places to be outside in the South Loop and these are just a few of them. If you have any favorites, let us know!
